Dear Sir or Madam:
Upon inspection of the property, I found a Hickory tree that should be removed. The tree
poses an unnecessary risk to person or property. The tree was severely damaged during a strong
storm last year. The top of the tree broke in half. The tree still had some green branches remaining
and the homeowner wanted to try and save the tree. Over the past year the tree has declined rapidly.
The wood is starting to rot from where the tree broke. Many of the branches that were still green
after the storm are dying and starting to fall on the ground. The tree is a hazard to the surrounding
area and the only way to reduce the risk of danger to the property is to remove the tree.
