Dear Sir or Madam:
Upon inspection of the property, I found a Laurel Oak and Hickory tree that should be
removed. The trees pose an unnecessary risk to person or property.
The Laurel Oak tree is suffering from root and collar rot. This is evident by the
discoloration of the trunk of the tree. The roots stay overly saturated and after prolonged periods
of this occurring, the water causes the roots to die. The tree also has mushrooms growing on its
trunk. This is associated with the rotting of the trunk and the heartwood on the inside of the tree.
The tree is growing close enough to the house located at the listed property that it’s a hazard. One
of its main branches is almost touching the house and is dead. The tree would hit the home and
cause damage. The only way to reduce the risk of danger to the property is to remove the tree.
The Hickory is completely dead. The branches are starting to rot and fall to he ground. The
tree is leaning over the neighbor’s property and house. The tree is a hazard to the surrounding area
and the only way to reduce the risk of danger to the property is to remove the tree.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
