The assessment below was performed in accordance with the Tree Risk Assessment Best
Management Practice, 2nd Edition (2017). The water oak tree poses an unacceptable risk, and
trimming or pruning will not mitigate it. The removal is the only practical means of mitigating
its risk to below moderate levels.

The property is located at 241 Oceanwalk Drive South, Atlantic Beach, FL. 32233-6601

Species: Water oak tree
DBH: 22”
2. Observed Issues:
The 20” DBH water oak tree has an uncorrectable canopy structure that includes large leads
with weak connections that will cause substantial damage to the home when failure occurs,
also, a substantial lean towards the home.
3. Recommendation:
The above water oak tree should be considered for removal to preserve persons and property.
