A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AWARDING BID 2526-07 STURDIVANT AVENUE SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO MCLAIN SITE SOLUTIONS;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AND
PURCHASE ORDERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH AND AS NECESSARY TO
EFFECTUATE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the purpose of this project is to select a Contractor to perform the Sturdivant
Avenue Sidewalk Improvements Project; and
WHEREAS, on February 11, 2026, eight bids were received and opened for Bid 2526-07
Sturdivant Avenue Sidewalk Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the bids ranged from $599,970.61 to $1,373,680, with Mclain Site Solutions being
the lowest bidder; and
WHEREAS, the cost for the project will be funded from the $650,000 currently budgeted in the
Public Works/Infrastructure Account 300-5002-541-6300, under project number PW2522; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby awards Bid 2526-07 Sturdivant Avenue Sidewalk
Improvements to Mclain Site Solutions;
SECTION 2. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the contract
with Mclain Site Solutions and approve a Purchase Order to said vendor in the amount of $599,970.61;
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
