Our office remains focused on maintaining momentum across key programming, infrastructure, environmental, and intergovernmental projects. City Manager's Community Updates, including related links, are available on the City's website and across official digital channels. 1. STOP Committee Action Plan Staff is finalizing a comprehensive Action Plan to implement the STOP Committee's recommendations. This plan, which includes initiatives such as the demarcation of parking spaces, is scheduled for presentation at the May 11 Commission meeting. Please note that these recommendations carry substantial implications for the FY 2026-27 budget. 2. FY 2026-27 Strategic Priorities Following the recent Commission Priorities Workshop, Staff will present a formal Priorities Update during the May 11 meeting. This report will outline the finalized goals and strategic direction for the upcoming fiscal year. 3. Beaches Town Center (BTC) Parking Program The City of Neptune Beach has transitioned to T2 Systems software to manage unpaid BTC overtime parking citations. Data Overview: As of December 31, 2025, there are 3,340 unpaid violations in Atlantic Beach, totaling $79,589. Revenue Recovery: Atlantic Beach will receive 70% of all funds recovered by the collections agency for citations issued within our jurisdiction. Outside BTC: The City continues to utilize a separate vendor for citations issued outside of the Beaches Town Center area. 4. Launching "Community Bright Spots" We are proud to unveil Community Bright Spots, a new digital sanctuary on the City's website. Inspired by resident Steve Piscitelli, this initiative encourages the community to celebrate the art, architecture, people, and natural beauty that define Atlantic Beach. • Get Involved: We invite all residents to join this journey at www.coab.us/CommunityBrightSpots. 5. Operational and Parks Updates • Streaming Video Enhancements: Tonight's meeting features anew two -camera setup — one dedicated to the podium and one to the Commission. This upgrade, managed live by our IT staff, is part of our ongoing commitment to improving public access and transparency. • Arts in the Park: Join us this Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Johansen Park for a celebration of local creativity. City Commission Priorities In 2018, the Atlantic Beach City Commission began undertaking an annual exercise that establishes priorities for citygovernment.
