Assessment of Trees for Clearing Lot
The assessment below was performed in accordance with the Tree Risk Assessment
Best Management Practice, 2nd Edition (2017). The trees below pose an
unacceptable risk and trimming or pruning will not mitigate it. The removal is the only
practical means of mitigating its risk to below moderate levels
1. Property Overview:
The property is located at 0 Camelia Street, Atlantic Beach, FL. 32233
2. Trees Overview and Defects:
#6 DBH: 6” Live Oak Tree Dead.
#13 DBH: 13” Live Oak Tree Uncorrectable lean towards the right side
neighboring property.
#10 DBH: 16” Live Oak Tree Uprooted.
#3 DBH: 13” Live Oak Tree Over lean to the left side neighboring property.
#12 DBH: 17” Water Oak Tree Unacceptable lower trunk decay.
#11 DBH: 14” Live Oak Tree Unacceptable lean over client’s property.
#8 DBH: 5” Live Oak Tree Uprooted.
Total DBH: 84”
3. Mitigation Options:
The above trees have been found to have an unacceptable natural defect and should be
considered for removal to preserve persons and property.
