Re: Tree inspection- 378 4th st Atlantic Beach, FI 32233
On January 05, 2026, 1 performed a level 2 inspection at ground level using optical
magnification, with no climbing involved. The tree is located in the rear of the property along
eastern fence line. The tree assessed is an American Elm, 15" cal DBH, approximately 35' in ht,
with a canopy spread of approximately 20'.
Tree trunk and canopy:
The tree is in decline with decay and dead branching throughout the tree. Limb drop
from the tree was observed. Epicormic stress growth is also apparent. Decay is present in
several areas of the upper trunk and canopy.
Summary:
This tree is at an elevated risk of further failure which would almost certainly cause
damage to structures both within and outside of property lines and possibly to humans. In
order to mitigate these risk, the tree should be removed as soon as practical.
