Dear Sir or Madam:
I was hired to do a level two arborist inspection on a Water Oak tree. In my professional
opinion the tree should be removed. The tree poses an unnecessary risk to person or property. The
top of the tree broke and fell out many years ago. The homeowner wanted to try and keep the tree
as long as possible. Severe decay has spread from the top of the tree down into the trunk and the
tree is starting to drop branches. The tree grows near an outdoor patio that is frequently used by
the residents of the listed property. The tree is also in striking distance of the home, if complete
failure occurred. The tree is a high risk and the only way to reduce the risk to an acceptable level
is to remove the tree.
