Dear Sir or Madam:
I was hired to do a level two arborist inspection on a Water Oak tree. In my professional
opinion the tree should be removed as soon as possible. The tree poses an unnecessary risk to
person or property. The tree is actively failing and is a severe risk to the surrounding area. The tree
has a hollow cavity that spreads through the main trunk. The tree has cracked and broke at the
cavity. The only thing holding the tree up is a neighbor’s tree. The only way to reduce the risk to
an acceptable level is to remove the tree.
