A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AWARDING BID NO. 2526-11: MULTI-YEAR CONTRACT FOR
JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR CITY COMMUNITY CENTERS, SUBJECT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, on Marach 26, 2026, bids were received and opened for City Bid No.
2526-11: Multi -Year Contract for Janitorial Services for our Community Centers; and
WHEREAS, the low bidder, Milclean USA, LLC submitted a total annual cost of $45,000
and provided all required documentation in their bid submittal; and
WHEREAS, the areas to be cleaned at Donner Community Center and Jordan Community
Center will receive service on Saturdays and Sundays, as needed, after 10:00 PM.
WHERAS, the areas to be cleaned at the Marsh Oaks Community Center and Adele Grage
Cultural Center & Theater will be serviced seven (7) days a week, Monday through Sunday, after
10:00 PM. Services at the Marsh Oaks Community Center will commence on October 1; and
WHEREAS, the period of the contract term is anticipated to begin on or about May 1, 2026,
and will continue for a period of five (5) years from the commencement date; and
WHEREAS, $45,000 will be requested for janitorial services in the upcoming FY 2026-27
budget. Funds are available in the current budget year to support services at all community centers
except Marsh Oaks Community Center. Services for this facility will be incorporated upon its
completion, which will align with the new budget year.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes awarding Bid No. 2526-11: Multi -
Year Contract for Janitorial Services to Milclean USA, LLC.
SECTION 2. The term of the contract shall be in effect for a period of (5) calendar years.
� SECTION 3. Notwithstanding the approval granted and other provisions contained herein,
the City's obligation under the Multi -Year Contract approved herein is subject to annual
appropriations for this purpose as may be adopted and included in the City's annual budgets for Fiscal
Years 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030 and 2031.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
