Assessment of Trees for Clearing Lot
The assessment below was performed in accordance with the Tree Risk Assessment
Best Management Practice, 2nd Edition (2017). The trees below pose an
unacceptable risk and trimming or pruning will not mitigate it. The removal is the only
practical means of mitigating its risk to below moderate levels
1. Property Overview:
The property is located at 0 Camelia Street, Atlantic Beach, FL. 32233
2. Trees Overview and Defects:
#6 DBH: 6” Live Oak Tree Dead.
#13 DBH: 13” Live Oak Tree Uncorrectable lean towards the right side
neighboring property.
#10 DBH: 16” Live Oak Tree Uprooted.
#3 DBH: 13” Live Oak Tree Over lean to the left side neighboring property.
#12 DBH: 17” Water Oak Tree Unacceptable lower trunk decay.
#11 DBH: 14” Live Oak Tree Unacceptable lean over client’s property.
#8 DBH: 5” Live Oak Tree Uprooted.
Total DBH: 84”
3. Mitigation Options:
The above trees have been found to have an unacceptable natural defect and should be
considered for removal to preserve persons and property.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
•The current tree fund rate is $181.00 per inch.
•One shade tree shall be planted or preserved within the
required front yard of every lot.
PLANTING REQUIRMENTS
•Oaks must be replaced with oaks and have a 4" caliper and 12'
tall at time of planting.
•Maritime Species must be replaced with Maritime Species.
•Mininum 2" caliper for non oaks and 10' tall at time of
planting.
•Palms may replace plams.Mininum 8ft clear trunk height at
time of planting.
•Maritime species receive double credit when replacing non
Maritime species.
Status in accordance with the City of Altantic Beach code of
ordinances in effect at the time of application submittal.
