Dear Sir or Madam:
Upon inspection of the property, I found two trees, that in my professional opinion should
be removed. One Laurel Oak, and one Live Oak. The trees pose an unnecessary risk to person or
property.
The Laurel Oak is almost completely dead. More than 90% of its canopy is dead branches.
There is a large hole in the middle of the trunk where decaying wood can be seen in the inside of
the tree. The tree is growing close to the house located at the listed property, and would most likely
severely damage the home when it fails. The tree is a high risk to the property and the only way
to reduce that risk to an acceptable level is to remove the tree.
The Live Oak is in very poor condition. The canopy is very thin and full of dead branches.
The tree has a large crack in its trunk, that exposes decaying wood on the inside of the tree. The
tree also has a large hole at the base of its trunk that exposes extensive root rot. The tree is growing
close enough to the home that it would cause severe damage to the house or property when it fails.
The tree is a high risk to the property and the only way to reduce that risk to an acceptable level is
to remove the tree.
