Dear Sir or Madam:
Upon inspection of the property, I found a Live Oak tree that in my professional opinion
should be removed. The tree poses an unnecessary risk to person or property.
The tree is growing Approx. 2 feet from the foundation of the home located at the listed
property. The tree has very little soil space for its roots to grow properly. There is visual evidence
that the tree roots are girdling and growing in a circular pattern around the trunk of the tree. This
defect causes the ground to swell up around the trees stump. The grade of the front yard around
the tree has changed Approx. 10 inches. The front window, bottom seal, is Approx. 6 in from the
new grade. The ground will continue to rise as the tree grows bigger. The front yard of this property
does not have enough soil space for a Live Oak to grow and thrive, without negative consequences
to the surrounding area. The tree is a high risk to the property and the only way to reduce that risk
to an acceptable level is to remove the tree.
