RESOLUTION NO. 26-111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ISSUE A TASK AUTHORIZATION TO FISHER
KOPPENHAFER, PA FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANT OPERATIONS BUILDING; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE ORDERS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH AND AS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, staff received a Scope & Fee Proposal from Fisher Koppenhafer, PA in the amount of
$148,500 to provide architectural design and engineering for the wastewater treatment facilities operations
building; and
WHEREAS, Fisher Koppenhafer, PA will provide architectural, structural engineering, civil,
mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering design services; and
WHEREAS, the City has a Professional Engineering Services Agreement with Fisher Koppenhafer,
PA and this scope of work would be Task Authorization No. RFQ25-01-FK-TA #3 under said Agreement;
and
WHEREAS, funding is available in account No. 410-5508-535-6300 for Project PU2633 in the
amount of $150,000.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute Task
Authorization No. RFQ25-01-FK-TA #3 to Fisher Koppenhafer, PA in the amount of $148,500.00 for
design services for the wastewater treatment plant operations building, as described in the Fisher
Koppenhafer, PA Scope & Fee Proposal.
SECTION 2. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to approve a purchase
order to Fisher Koppenhafer, PA in accordance with and as necessary to effectuate the provisions of this
Resolution.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
