A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
APPROVING COMPLETE WELL SERVICES, INC. VIDEO AND PUMP
REPLACEMENT AT WATER TREATMENT PLANT #2; AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE
ORDERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH AND AS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, video inspection of well #5 at the Water Treatment Plant #2 on Mayport Road has
been identified in the 2026 Capital Improvements Plan; and
WHEREAS, two quotes were obtained from Complete Service Well Drilling, INC, and Partridge
Well Drilling, Inc; and
WHEREAS, the lowest quote was from Complete Service Well Drilling, INC. for $55,675 to
pull the pump, video the well and replace the pump; and
WHEREAS, the budget for this project is included in the Capital Improvements Projects for the
Public Utilities Department under account 400-5502-533-6300 in Project No. PU2609.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby approves well #5 work and pump replacement at
Water Treatment Plant #2.
SECTION 2. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Contract
with Complete Service Well Drilling, INC. and approve a Purchase Order to said vendor in the amount
of $55,675.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
