BEACH ADVISORY PLANNING BOARD HELD AT
THE CITY HALL ON TUESDAY, MARCH 21,
1978, AT 7:30 P.M.

AND: R. C. Vogel, City Manager
Chairman Andresen called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. , and the first
order of business was to consider a request from Mrs. Daniel G. Oden of
320 - 8th Street to have Lot 9, Block 9, placed under P.U.D. for the
purpose of constructing a duplex residence. It was pointed out that the
property immediately to the East is zoned multi-family, and on the lot
to the West there is a duplex residence. After much discussion, it was
determined that the Board would recommend to the City Commission that this
be approved by either changing the zoning of Lot 9, Block 9, from Residence A
to Residence B, or under P.U.D. The vote was three to one in favor of
this proposal.
The next order of business was a request from Mr. Tom Collier that a strip
of land which is a part of the Hotel Reservation immediately south of the
Cloisters Condominiums be placed under PUD for the purpose of constructing
a three-story single-family residence. A plot plan was not submitted;
therefore, it was suggested by the Board that the Commission approve the
concept on first reading and re-refer to the Planning Board.
There being no further business to be discussed, Chairman Andresen declared
the meeting adjourned.
