BEACH HELD AT THE CITY HALL, JANUARY 16, 1973, AT 8:00 P.M.

ABSENT: None
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Mr. Wardrep. The
first item discussed was the appointment or re-appointment by the
City Commission whoever term has expired. According to the original
appointment the following were appointed by the terms indicated.
Mr. R. L. Wardrep, 4 years
Mrs. Jan Tierney, 3 years
Mr. Glover Weiss, 2 years
Mrs. Mary Pace, 1 year
The seat occupied by Mrs. Pace is due for an appointment for a four
year term.
Mr. Wilson appeared before the Board continuing his request for a
variance with regard to minimum square feet requirements. He ad-
vised that he is prepared to construct a house containing 1, 000 sq.
ft. and requested the Board to allow this variance. After due con-
sideration, the Board on a unanimous vote recommended that the City
Commission allow the above variance.
John Hanna appeared with a request that he be allowed to construct
in the Donner Subdivision adjacent to Donner Park twelve living units
in an un-plated area containing 84,000 sq. ft. located on Church Rd.
and George St. The property extends West on Church Rd. 400 ft. from
George St. and South on George St. 210 ' from Church Rd. He would
like permission to pave a strip parallel with the South property
which abuts Donner Playground. This would permit continous access
on Dudley Road from Mayport Road to Mealy Lane. The property
construction complies with existing zoning, South Standard Building
Code, etc. Upon unanimous vote the Board recommended that the City
Commission allow the above improvements.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
