BEACH ADVISORY PLANNING BOARD HELD AT
THE CITY HALL ON TUESDAY, APRIL 18,
1978, AT 7:30 P.M.
PRESENT: John F. Andresen, Chairman
Harold E. Mullins
Dick Rigsbee
AND: Bill M. Davis, Acting City Manager
ABSENT: Donna Ross
Catherine G. Van Ness, Commissioner
Chairman Andresen called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. , and the
first order of business was to consider a request from Mr. Tom Collier
to construct a beach house on the north thirty feet of Lot 20, CLUB MANOR
(Club Drive and Ocean Front) under P.U.D. Mr. and Mrs. Collier were
present in the company of their attorney, Mr. Gene Moss, and his wife.
After a review of the submitted plans and a discussion with Mr. Collier,
motion was made by Mr. Mullins, seconded by Mr. Rigsbee, and unanimously
carried, that the Board recommend approval of this P.U.D. application to
the City Commission, but with a check on the dune line requirements of the
State of Florida.
After discussing the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Atlantic Beach, and
its ultimate referral to the City Commission for adoption, the Advisory
Planning Board set a special meeting for Tuesday, April 25, 1978, at
7:30 PM, to review said Comprehensive Plan.
There being no further business to be discussed, Chairman Andresen declared
the meeting adjourned.
