The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman, Mrs. Jan
Tierney, and there being no objections to the minutes of
February 20 they were adopted as written.
The first topic for discussion was a continuation of the pre-
vious meeting of the presentation and request by Mr. Bull
for the airport property to be placed under the PUD Ordinance,
the Board at the February meeting had approved. The Board
at the previous meeting looked favorably upon the entire
project, however, they decided to withholda recommendation
to the City Commission until more discussion was held con-
cerning the cluster housing.
Mr. George Bull, Jr. pointed out that the family unit per
acre (2.42) was well within the standard established by the
AA zoning, and that the only departure from conventional AA
zoning was that the sideline requirements was converted to front
and back open space. He also said that this does not appear
to be true when viewing the plot plan, unless the property
which extends into the lagoon is taken into consideration.
The Board after lengthy discussion voted to recommend to the
City Commission, that based on the prelimenary plans presented,
that the entire project be placed under PUD.
There being no further business the acting chairman declared
the meeting adjourned.
