AGENDA ITEM: Extension of Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Televising Contract

BACKGROUND: The contract for cleaning and televising sanitary sewer lines in amounts greater
than 5,000 lineaz feet with Reynolds Inliner expires on July 31, 2007. The contract allows for two 1-
year extensions of the contract if agreeable to both parties.
The contractor agrees to extend the contract at the current prices of $1.40/lineaz foot, and staff
recommends an extension of the contract.
BUDGET: Staff will be requesting funds for sewer rehabilitation, including cleaning and televising,
for the FY08 budget in the Sewer Fund under account number 410-5506-535-3400 or 410-5506-535-
6300.
RECOMMENDATION: Extend the contract with Reynolds Inliner to provide sanitary sewer
cleaning and televising in amounts greater than 5,000 linear feet for an additional yeaz at the current
prices.
ATTACHMENTS: 1. Letter of Agreement to extend contract from Reynolds Inliner.
