Traffic Counts for Linkside Drive; Mayor Wolfson requested during the last commission
,,,, meeting to find the traffic counts on Linkside Drive between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm during the
study period which was conducted from November 29`~ until December Sd~. There was an
average of 711 vehicles on those streets during those days, which average out to approximately
,~„ one car per minute.
Resort on Sanitation Contract Options; A report on negotiations with Waste Service
~„ Incorporated and options for the Commission to consider for provision of sanitation services
after the current contract expires in May of 2007 will be presented to the City Commission at the
next regular meeting on January 22nd. While staff had anticipated having a report ready for the
~,. January 8~' meeting, negotiations could not be completed with WSI as quickly as anticipated.
They are bringing on a new Regional Manager who begins work on January 2nd and it will take
several days for him to get up to speed to be able to meet with us.
