ORDINANCE NO. 95-07-93 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, COUNTY OF DUVAL, STATE OF FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 5, BEACHES AND PARKS, SECTION 5-32, FEES AND CHARGES AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AGENDA ITEM # 7B FEBRUARY I2, 2007 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: Sec. 5-32 of the Code of ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Is hereby created to establish the following fees and charges for the use of City facilities and for other Parks & Recreation activities: Sec. 5-32 Fees and Charges Building Usage , $100.00 plus a refundable deposit of $200.00 for damages or violations of park rules for four hours; $25 an hour for additional time at Adele Grage Cultural Center, Jordan Park Community Center and Donner Park Community Center All events will end at 10:00 PM Recurring Usage $25.00 plus a refundable deposit of $50.00 for non-profit organizations, homeowners associations and other not-for- profit groups using the buildings six or more times a year Alcohol Usage There will be an additional fee of $50.00 for anv event serving alcohol. Lost Key Charge $8.00 Beach Permit $30.00 per event, plus a refundable deposit Of $100.00. (This fee only applies to bonfires on the beach.) Summer Camp $45.00 per week. However, for children Who qualify for free or reduced-price Lunches at their schools, the cost will be $50.00 per child for the duration of the summer camp. Annual Camp-out $10.00 per campsite Camping on Dutton Island $25.00 per campsite, plus a refundable Deposit of $25.00 (This fee also applies to small fires on the beach.) Flag Football $10.00 per child AGENDA ITEM # 7B FEBRUARY 12, 2007 SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
