Tax Rates for 2007; All local government jurisdictions have now set their ad valorem tax rates
for the 2007 year. They are summarized on the attached chart published by the Office of the
Property Appraiser. The chart shows the breakdown of taxes paid for the schools, to the county
government, to each of the cities (labeled "Urban Service Districts" in this chart), the Water
Management District and the Florida Inland Navigation District. Citizens in Atlantic Beach will
pay a total of 16.3961 mils, compared with citizens in the City of Jacksonville paying 16.6894
mils.
