BEACH TOZ COUNCIL HELD AT THE TONIN HALL, TUESDAY, 8 P.M.
NOVEMBER 7th, 1944.

The meeting was called to order by the president , James A.
Cranford.
The minutes of the meeting of Octobbr 3rd were read and
approved.
Upon motion of E'.L. Jones, seconded by Beale Travis the
Treasurer' s report was approved.
Upon motion of E.L. Chiasson, seconded by E.LJones the
following bills were approved for payment :

Mr. Frazier reported that the matter of the Hulsey
property would be attended to before next meeting.
Mr. Howell advised the Council that he would have the papers
ready on the Williams tax suit by the next Council Meeting.
Mr. Omer G. Curtis, Certified Public Accountant , with Mr.
Dewey Albertson, presented annual Auditor's Report , also a
psecial report on the Seawall Account. The Council expressed
appreciation of the report as made, and upon motion of E.L.
Chiasson seconded by E .L. Jones the audit was accepted.
Upon motion of T.L. Chiasron, seconded by Beale Travis
the Town Clerk was instructed to pay the auditors $'200. us
set up in the budget.
Mr. Travis moved that whereas the res gnation of C .F. Frazier
as Town Supervisor had been accepted, to take effect upon Don
E. Goodling's availability for the nosltiono„ and whereas Mr.
Goodling has announced that ho will not be/aailablc for said
position, and whereas Mr. Frazier has withdrawn his said resigna-
tion, that said withdrawal be accepted, and Mr. Frazier be crIn-
firmed in the office of Town Supervisor of said Town. The motion
was seconded by E.L. Jones, and unaminously carried.
II/ Matter of Street-ends damaged by storm was discussed and
E.L. Jones reported that the McCormick' s have quotations ready
for property owners when reouested. Also they will work out
the repairs of the street-ends advantageously for the
Town. Mr. Jones will contact then further. The Mc-
Cormick Company have already made a complete survey of , -
damages done to the Ocean front properties.
The matter of reported probable leakages
in Seawall reported previously by Mr. Jones, were discussed
again and it was decided that same was not thru Seawall ,
but would be watched carefully to make sure .
E.L. Chiasson moved with second by Don E.
Goodling that a bond be retained for the Town Supervisor,
and that the matter be handled by Mr. Rosborough. Motion
was carried.
There being no further business for
consideration the meeting adjourned.
