Mr. Earle H. Thompson,
Atlantic Beach,
Florida.
Dear Mr. Thompson: -
It is with sincere regret that I learn
that you have refused to run for re-election as a member
of the Council of Atlantic Beach.
During the past twelve years, since you have been
a Councilman here , you have served the Community faithfully,
unselfishly, devotedly, for the best interests of the Town
and it' s Citizens.
11/ As a big tax payerof Atlantic Beach, I wish to express
my sincere appreciation and gratitude for your services to us
and to the town.
I am sending a copy of this tribute to the Town Clerk
with the request that it be spread upon the minutes.
Very truly yours ,
( Signed) E. Fridenberg-McCullough.
Again there was called to the attention of the Council , the
annoyance of Radio Loud Speakers in business places, both on the
Neptune side and Atlantic Beach side , a kind of war being waged as to whict
could make the most noise to attract business and this rivalry being
carried on late into the night.
After some discussion, the Town Atty. was requested to con-
fer with the Atty. of Neptune Beach, in order to draw up an ordi -
nance which would adee;uately cover the situation and would be ac-
ceptible to each municipality.
There being no further business for consideration pon
motion put, seconded and carried, the meeting :dj urn-.
