Thereupon, the President of the Counsii, Mr. Lawrence
K. Tucker, Jr., stated that the purpose of the nesting was to
consider a resolution to alter or amend sub-paragraph 2 (g) of
Part One of the Loan Agreement authorised to be executed in a
resolution of April 28, 1934, on behalf of the Tarn with the
Government of the United Staes with reference to seawall bonds.
After a general discussion, Councilman J. M. Bradfield
offered the following resolution:
"A Resolution Modifying or Amending Sub-paragraph 2
(g) of Part One of Loan Agreement Authorised to be Executed in
Resolution of April 25, 1934, on behalf of the Town with tho
United States Governments in Re: Seawall Bonds.
"BE IT RESOLVED that sub-paragraph 2 (g) of Part One
of the Loan Agreement soathorised to be +1000ated in the reran-
tion of April 25, 1934, on behalf of the Town of Atlantic Beach
• with the United States Government, which reads as follows:

the u&d resolution adopted April 25, 1934, be and the same is
hereby ratified, confirmed and approved, and that the said loan
Weement as so m xlified, be executed on behalf of the Town
by the President of the Town Council, with the corporate seal
thereto attached and attested by the Town Clerk.

Town Clerk be and they are hereby directed and authorised to
take all necessary steps to fully carry into effect the purpose
and intent of this resolution."
The above and foregoing resolution was !fid in full
on its first reading.
Upon motion of Councilman J. M. Bradfield, sessnisi
by Councilman Jas. D. Palmer and by unanimous vote, the
rules were waived and said resolution was read in full upon
second reading,
Upon motion of Councilman J. M. Bradfield, seconded
by Councilman,, Jas. D. Palmer and by unanimous vote, the
rules were further waived and said resolution, eMbodying the
said resolution and contract, was read in full upon third
reading.
The roll being Balled upon the adoption of the
