HELD AT THE TOWN HALL AUGUST 28th, 1934, at 5-30 PH.
PRESENT:-
Lawrence K. flicker, Jr. ,
Geo. B. Stallings,
J. N. Bradfield,
E. H. Thompson.
The meeting was called to order by Mr. E. H. Thompson,
Chairman, pro tem.
The following resolution was made by Mr. a radfield,
seconded by Yr. Stallings, put and carried:-
WHEREAS, The Federal Emergency Administration of Public
Works has notified the Town Council of the Town of Atlantic Beach
that it does not approve certain features of the plans and
specifications for seawall upon which bids were opened on Au gist
6, A. D. 1934, and recommends that all bids be rejected and that
plans and specifications be revised in certain particulars,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council that
all bids received for the construction of seawall on August 6,
A. D. 1934, be and the same are hereby rejected, and that all
checks, deposits or bid bonds submitted by the bidders on august
6, 1934, be and they are hereby ordered returned to the bidders.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That Hills & Youngberg, Engineers
for the Town of Atlantic Beach, be and they are he reby authorized
and instructed to revise the plans and specifications for the
construction of seawall in accordance with the suggestions and
recommendations of the Federal Emergency Administration of Public
Works, and as revised, the said plans and specifications be and
the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That new advertisements for bids
under the revised plans and specifications be started as early
as possible.
There being no further business for consideration,
upon motion put, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned.

The meeting was called to order by Mr. E. H. Thompson,
acting as Chairman,
A motion was made by Mr. r3'adf ield, seconded by Mr.
Stallings, put and carried, that a telephone be installed in
the Town Hall at the earliest date possible.
A motion eas made by Mr. Stallings, seconded by Mr.
Tucker, put and carried, that after the expenses of the
campaign were deducted, the balance should be pro-rated by the
Clerk and returned to the candidates,
There being no further business for consideration, the
meeting adjourned.
