JUNE 19, 1933, HELD AT THE TOWN HALL AT 5-45 P.M.
PRESENT:-
Lawrence K. Tucker, Jr. ,
J. M. Bradfield,
Geo. B. Stallings.
The meeting was called to order by Mr. Lawrence K.
Tucker, Jr., Chairman.
Upon motion of Mr. Bradfield, seconded by Mr. Stal-
lings, put and carried, the reading of the minutes of June 5th,
was waived.
An ordinance for defraying expense of Seawall was
introduced by Mr. Bradfield and read and passed on the first
reading by title only.
A motion was made by P;Ir. Bradfield, seconded by Mr.
Thompson, put and carried that the Town purchase 500 ft. of
r fire hose, reel and necessary minor equipment, such as wrench-
es, nozzles- etc. and that the Public Works Committee be given
authority to purchase the equipment at the lowest price and
best terms obtainable.
An ordinance regulating the duties, fees etc. of
the Municipal Judge, was introduced by Mr. Stallings and
read and passed on first reading by title only,
An Ordinance fixing the Amounts to be paid for City
Licenses, was introduced by Mr. Bradfield and read and pas-
sed on first reading by title only, y
A' motion was made by Mr. Bradfield, seconded by Mr.
Stallings, put and carried, that the Clerk issue a warrant
in favor of Mr. C . D. Towers for($24.00) twenty four dollars;
to reimburse him for money spent in placing shell on 13th St,
There being no further business for consideration,
on motion put and carried, the meeting adjourned.
