Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6, International
Property Maintenance Code adopted to wit:
VIOLATION
INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE
Section (A) 104.3 Right of Entry. Where it is necessary to make an inspection to enforce the
provisions of this code, or wherever the code official has reasonable cause to believe that there
exists in a structure or upon a premises a condition in violation of this code, the code official is
authorized to enter the structure or premises at reasonable times to inspect or perform the duties
imposed by this code, provided that if such structure or premises is occupied the code official
shall present credentials to the occupant and request entry. If such structure or premises is
unoccupied, the code official shall first make a reasonable effort to locate the owner or other
person having charge or control of the structure or premises and request entry. If entry is
refused the code official shall have recourse to the remedies provided by law and secure entry.

Electrical Equipment
Section 605.1. Installation. All electrical equipment, wiring and appliances shall be properly
installed and maintained in a safe and approved manner. (electric pole and equipment that
services mobile home has been tampered with and a safety inspection will be required prior
to service being reinstated)
Section 301.2 Vacant structures and land. All vacant structures and premises thereof or
vacant land shall be maintained in a clean, safe, secure and sanitary condition as provided herein
so as not to cause a blighting problem or adversely affect the public health or safety.
(Abandoned property and mobile home not being maintained)
Section 302.4 Weeds. All premise and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or
plant growth in excess of twelve (12") inches in height. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited.
Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs
provided, however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. (Property is
overgrown, debris on property including limbs on and around abandoned mobile home)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by mowing the overgrown
property and maintain mowed and a clean, safe, secure and sanitary condition and call for
an inspection for access to inspect the abandoned mobile and to verify compliance within
twenty (20) days of receipt of this notice. (Please call (904) 247-5855 to schedule your
inspection and provide access to interior of mobile home)
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
