ORDINANCE NO. 20-13-122 JULY s, 2013
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OPERATING BUDGET
FOR THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA FOR
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2012 AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2013, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires that the City
Commission approve all budgetary increases and transfers at the fund level, and
WHEREAS, the nature of budgetary systems and those day -to -day decisions affecting
such budgetary systems require adjustments from time -to -time, and
WHEREAS, the City staff was directed at the March 23, 2013 commission meeting per
approval of Agenda Item #8B, to go forward with funding for videotaping the future commission
meetings. This will require the purchase and installation of a camera system and a monthly live
streaming hosting and remote switching service, and
WHEREAS, during the May 13, 2013 City Commission meeting, the Commission
decided to amend the proposal to lower the scope of the project and the related funding therefore
causing this proposed ordinance to be presented as a first reading on the next agenda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON
BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, that;
1. The Fiscal Year 2012/2013 Budget to be amended as follows:
GENERAL FUND
Expenses:
City Clerk
Capital Outlay - $6,000
Contract Services - 700
Total Expenses: $6,700
Fund Balance :5S 700>
2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.

Passed by the City Commission on second and final reading this day of 2013.
