PUBLIC MEETING
REGARDING SELVA PRESERVE
CITY HALL, COMMISSION CHAMBER
MAY 5, 2017 AT 12:30 PM
IN ATTENDANCE:
Mitchell E. Reeves, Mayor
John Stinson, Commissioner
Blythe Waters, Commissioner
Donna L. Bartle, City Clerk
Commissioner Stinson called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m. in the Commission
Chamber and explained the purpose of the meeting.
Commissioner Stinson inquired about whether there are private funds available for
purchasing the Selva Preserve property. During the discussion, Commissioner
Waters explained she is working with potential private investors who might be
willing to purchase the property and donate it to the City.
Public Comments were received by two citizens, Mark Tingen, 1198 Sandpiper Lane
East and Claudia Estes, 1275 Linkside Drive, regarding the topic and Mayor Reeves
joined the conversation.
Discussion ensued about future Commission involvement.
Commissioner Stinson adjourned the meeting at 1:13 p.m.
