MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH CITY
COMMISSION HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5,
1967 AT 8:00 P. M.
The meeting was called pursuant to the provisions of the City
Charter.
Present:
William S. Howell, Mayor-Commissioner
John W. Weldon
Donald L. Goodling
W. J. Parks, Jr. , Commissioners
and
R. C. Vogel, Acting City Manager
Adele S . Grage, City Clerk
Absent: Louis C. Holloway, Jr. , Commissioner
Frank Thompson, City Attorney
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor-Commissioner,
Mr. Howell.
Bids were received on ,police car as follows:
John Deihl Chevrolet Co. $2,857 .82
Duval Motor Co. (Ford) 2,688.67
Riverside Chevrolet Co. 2,634.40
Gordon Thompson Chevrolet 2, 675.74
Thor Chevrolet Co. 2,675.47
Following discussion Mr. Goodling moved the award be made to
the low bidder, Riverside Chevrolet Company, in the amount of
$2, 634.40 subject to being in strict accord with specifications,
seconded by Mr. Parks and carried.
There being no further business Mr. Howell declared the meeting
adjourned.
