REZ-2001-01 (WQOP) Public Notice 12.18.2001PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH The Community Development Board of the City of Atlantic Beach will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, December 18, 2001, at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall Commission Chambers located at 800 Seminole Road. The following items will be considered by the Board: 1) a request to consider a recommendation to the City Commission on an application for rezoning of property from Open Rural (OR) to Special Purpose (SP) to allow an existing radio station to continue with the use restricted to radio station and accessory structures only. Said property consists of approximately 2.5 acres and is generally located north of Atlantic Boulevard and east of the Intracoastal Waterway; 2) a request for a Variance to reduce a required twenty-foot rear yard to allow an addition to extend approximately three and one-half feet into the required rear yard for property located at 393 Third Street; 3) a request to consider an application for a Variance to allow an eight-foot high fence in the required side and rear yards, for property located at 1799 Sea Oats Drive. All information related to these applications and full legal descriptions for the subject properties are available for review at the City of Atlantic Beach Planning and Zoning Department located at 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Community Development Board with respect to any matter considered at the meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
