RE 151 Club DriveJeff-
As we discussed this morning, as long as the pool enclosure wall is structurally attached to the house, and in compliance with setbacks, height is measured as if it is part of the main
house, and nine feet in height is okay.

Sonya,
I would like to seek your assistance in resolving and issue at the Ulrich residence. The plans called for a portion of the east side of the home to have a 9' tall block wall with pergola
transitioning down to a 4' wall. This was designed architectural to hide the view of the pool from the street. The wall is within the confines of the house pad and does not encroach
any setback lines. I am curious as to why COAB required the 9' section to be reduced to 4' during the permitting process. I believe Rick Carper had mentioned that this was not permitted,
but it could have been your dept also. I was not sure.
Since the area of the wall could technically be the house area and the house can go up to 35' we do not understand why there is a height limitation here. This feature is part of the
home. CAn you review this again and advise?
I appreciate your time.
Thanks
