Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, to wit:

1PMC 302.4 Weeds.
All premises and exterior property shall be
maintained free from weeds or plant growth in excess of
twelve (12) inches: All noxious weeds shall be prohibited.
Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and
vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided; however,
this term shall not ioclude cultivated flowers and gardens.

IPMC Sec. 304.1 General.
The exteor of a structure shall be maintai
rined in good
repair, structurally sound and sanitary so as not to pose a
threat to the public health, safety or welfare.

All exterior surfaces including but not limited to, doors
and window frame,=, cornices, porches,trim, balconies,decks
and fences, shall be n-raintained in good condition. Exterior
wood surfaces, othef than decay -resistant woods, shall be
protected from the elements and decay by painting or other
protective covering or treatment. Peeling, flaking and
chipped paint shall be eliminated and surfaces repainted.
All siding and mas: ���ry joints, as well as those between the
building envelope and the perimeter of windows, doors and
skylights, shall be maintained weather resistant and water
tight. All metal surfaces subject to rust or or corrosion
shall be coated to inhibit such rust and corrosions and
all surface with rust or corrosion and shall be stabilized
and coated to inhibit future rust and corrosion. Oxidation
stains shall be rem: W& d from exterior surfaces. Surfaces
designed for stabilization by oxidation are exempt from
this requirement.

All exterior walls Nhall be free from holes, breaks, and
loose or rotting matotiais; and maintained weatherproof and
properly surface coat<ed where required to prevent
deterioration.

304.7 Roofs and drainage.
The roof and flashing shall be sound, tight and not have
defects that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to
prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior
portion of the structure. Roof drains, gutters and
downspouts shall 1�; iiiaintained in good repair and free from
obstructions. Root ANN eter shall not be discharged in a
manner that creates public nuisance.

SECTION 108.1.5 a` The walking surface of any aisle,

passageway, stairway, exit or other means of egress is so
warped, worn, loose, torn or otherwise unsafe as to not
provide safe and akjecluate means of egress.
Phis letter requests that ties: doted violations be corrected by making the stairs safe within
10 days and mowing the overgrown yard, and repairing the roof and soffit within ten (10)
days of the posting of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations. Upon wmpleting the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
