As the Director and Founder of a local non-profit, I have been
running Beaches WellFest for the past three years. During that
time I have held four events (three in Atlantic Beach and one in
Riverside) promoting health and wellness, along with
supporting local small businesses for the well-being of the
community. I have also volunteered with the COAB teaching
yoga at the Adele Grage and working with the seniors at the
Baker Center. I have also volunteered with Atlantic Beach
Elementary to help promote physical activity and nutrition to

students through their Fuel Up To Play program. Employment
wise, I have been a Physical Therapist Assistant for the past
11years and I am currently working on completing my
Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St.
Augustine.

appointed to this
board/committee.
Community connection, specifically promoting health and well-
being, whether it be physical, mental, or emotional, is a passion
of mine. I started Beaches WellFest as a way to bring the
community together to promote connection, health, and
wellness because I am a firm believer that together we can do
so much more. That includes personal health journeys and
commiunity-wide initiatives. I would love to be a part of the
committee that helps bring these events together for the benefit
of the residents of AB.
