New Volunteers
Mary Jenkins indicated that a letter from the Chairperson inviting interested people to attend the next
meeting might be more effective in attracting new volunteers than just a verbal invitation. Nancy
DeCandis asked the Committee members to give her names and addresses of any interested people. Also,
the Committee members were asked to give Nancy DeCandis names of organizations that might be
interested in volunteering so that Christine Lester or Margaret Sherrill could give a presentation to solicit
their help. Nancy asked each Committee member to bring someone with them to the next meeting.
Approval of the Minutes
Mary Jenkins motioned to approve the minutes of the meeting of April 28, 1999, Elise Sloan seconded
and the motion carried.
