RESOLUTION NO. 21-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH AUTHORIZING THE CITV
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL
MAGISTRATE SERVICES FOR CODE ENFORCEMENT WITH SUZANNE W. GREEN,
P.A., AT A BIMONTHLY RATE OF S3,000, PLUS S1,000 ANNUALLY; AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE ORDERS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH ANI) AS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE PROVISIONS
OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City desires w retain the services ofan attorney 'for Special Magistrate Services for
Code Enforcement, and
'WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a contractual services agreement ith Suzanne W. Green,
P.A., at a bimonthly (every two months) rate of $3,000., and
WHEREAS, additionally, under the terms of the contractual services agreement, the City will pay
Suzanne W. Green $1,000 annually upon receipt of an invoice showing evidence of insurance meeting the
requirements specified in the contractual service agreement; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for this purpose in Account 001-1009-519-31-00 General Government
— Professional Services.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City- Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach as folio 's:
SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby approves the City entering into a contractual services
agreement with Suzanne W. Green, P.A., at a bimonthly rate of $3,000, plus $1.000 annually.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in Account 001-1009-519-31-00 General
Government Professional Services.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract and such purchase order(s)
in accordance with and as necessary to effectuate the provisions of this Resolution.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
