Dear Ms. Griffith:
I write in reply to your attached letter. I spoke with Reverend Nash several days ago regarding this
matter and explained to him that approval of a Use-by-Exception would be required to operate a
Child Care Center at the church. (A Use-by-Exception is required to operate a Child Care Center
anywhere within the City of Atlantic Beach.) I have enclosed an application form and copies of the
relevant sections from our zoning regulations.
These requests first go before the Community Development Board, and their next meeting is on
August 20th. Should you wish to have your application heard at that meeting, the deadline for filing
the application is 5:00pm, Monday, August 5th. You may call me at (904) 247-5817 with any
