Mr. Rex Williams,
The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for a two-story porch addition
on the east side of the existing single family home at 631 Beach Avenue. All lighting is required
to be sea turtle friendly. Drawings provided show that the porch addition, including roof
overhangs, complies with all setback and height requirements for the RS-1 zoning district. Based
on this, the proposed construction does not contravene any local setbacks or zoning codes.
This letter does not constitute an approval by the City of Atlantic Beach. The project must still be
submitted to the City in a permit application and be reviewed by all applicable departments prior
to approval and issuance of a permit.
