Re: 1067 Beach Avenue DEP Letter
Mr. John Zona,
The City of Atlantic Beach did a preliminary review of your plans for a two-story, detached garage
with an exterior staircase and second floor access on the north side of the building to be located
west of an existing single family home at 1067 Beach Avenue. All lighting is required to be sea
turtle friendly. Drawings provided show that the detached garage comply with all setback and
height requirements. Based on this, the proposed construction does not contravene any local
setbacks or zoning codes.
This letter does not constitute an approval by the City of Atlantic Beach. The project must still be
submitted to the City in a permit application and be reviewed by all applicable departments prior
to approval and issuance of a permit.
