Re: Tree replacement at 30 Simmons Road
Dear Mr. Bradley,
The City Manager asked that I respond to your attached letter. Don Ford and I visited the Barnett
project at 30 Simmons Road earlier this week and observed one dead tree on the property.
I am advised by Don that this tree was a required tree per the projects tree mitigation and removal
permit. This tree has, however, been in place for longer than the one-year period as set forth in
Chapter 23. The City’s commercial Landscape regulations, however, require that landscaping be
maintained, and that dead landscape materials be replaced. The City has advised the property owner
of the need to replace this tree.
