2345 Seminole Reach Court (Pool)Just to make you aware… Allison is very unhappy that FDEP denied her proposed pool location. I had a long conversation with Valerie Jones at FDEP regarding this yesterday. (She called to let us know as a courtesy.) The proposed pool location meets City zoning regulations, but it does not meet FDEP rules for construction seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line on this lot. I advised Allison that we could not issue a building permit until the required FDEP permit was issued. She understands this. Donna, I told her that her records request would need to come through your office, but we can help you get the information together once you get it. Shirley can you check on the pool she references “around 4th or 5th St. oceanfront AB". Last pool I recall on Beach Avenue was Sylvia’s and I think it was west of the CCCL. Sonya - I am filing a formal complaint with my State Senator and Congressman regarding my dealings and my pool company's dealing with Valerie Jones at the FDEP. I will not go in to detail regarding all of her misrepresentations. I do however need to know from you the homes and pools that have been permitted in Atlantic Beach seaward of the CCCL. You mentioned in your last email that it has been some time since Atlantic Beach permitted a pool seaward of the CCCL. I find this statement surprising as I know specifically of one I asked you about a few months ago around 4th or 5th St. oceanfront AB. I need to know from you all of the DEP/Atlantic Beach permits for ANY building/structures seaward of the CCCL in the past five years. This is a formal public record request and I am glad to pay for the time and expense to obtain this information. Allison Forsyth .
