Dear Mr. Mead:
Your application for a Building Permit for renovations to this existing structure has been reviewed
by the Planning Department. Pursuant to Section 24-177(a) of the City’s land development
regulations, this project is subject to applicable provisions of the landscape requirements. I have
enclosed a copy Division 8 from our Code.
I recognize that this is a previously developed site with limited opportunity for landscaping. The
regulations provide some administrative flexibility allowing the waiver of certain standards in the
case of such sites; however, a landscape plan is required which demonstrates compliance with the
regulations to the maximum extent possible. Please submit you landscape plan directly to me, and
