Dear Mrs. Wilson:
Enclosed is a copy of the letter provided to Mr. Latiff regarding the Occupational License for
the “Fantasy Lane” proposed to be located at your property at 615 Atlantic Boulevard. As
you may read, the City has denied the request for an Occupational License to operate at this
location. The City has found materials sold at the other Fantasy Lane locations to be in
violation of Section 13-6 the City’s regulations prohibiting obscene matter and also in
violation of Florida Statutes regulating the distance between elementary schools and adult
bookstores. This finding and the denial of the Occupational License are based upon a report
and evidence provided by the City’s Police Department after an investigation of each of the
other Fantasy Lane locations.
