Re: Agreement to comply with terms as set forth herein for the placement of outdoor
seating at Lee’s Ice Cream
Dear Ms. Lombard:
Pursuant to the City Commission’s authorization for the placement of tables on the public
sidewalk in front of your business, please sign in the space provided below and return this letter to
me acknowledging your agreement and commitment to the following terms as set forth by the
City Commission at their January 14, 2008 meeting.
Number of tables to be placed on the sidewalk shall be limited to three, and the total
number of seats to be placed outside at any time shall not exceed six.
The style and type of tables shall be of a size, quality and type as generally represented
within the request.
Tables shall be placed within the building at the close of each business day.
The number of total seats shall not be increased with the addition of these six seats.
Placement of these tables shall be restricted to directly that area in front of the business
and underneath the canopy on the Atlantic Boulevard side of the business such that no
obstruction or interference with use of the sidewalk is created.
The area in proximity to these tables, including adjoining landscaped areas shall be
maintained in a clean condition free of any litter, dirt and debris which may generated as
result of the business. Failure to maintain the area in an acceptable manner shall
constitute cause for revocation of this approval upon notification by the City.
