Hi, Shannon-
The City Manager has asked me to check into this again. His immediate
concern is the portion of the Old Sherry Drive right-of-way extending
north from the segment that was quit-claimed up to Pioneer Drive. He
heard a comment to the effect that this portion of the right-of-way had
been abandoned and added to Hanna Park. I can’t find anything to
indicate such in Property Appraiser’s data, but he asked me to check
into this as quickly as possible. Our utility easement in that
right-of-way is a major component of our TMDL compliance plan, and
Sherry Drive also provides the only access to another piece of COAB
owned property.
