28 Sherry Drive (Palms Inn) 11.13.2002 November 13, 2002 Cherry Bradshaw c/o Palms Inn 28 Sherry Drive Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233 Re: Proposed use of property within Commercial General Zoning District and located at 42 East Coast Drive (Lots 1, 3 and 5, Block 1, Atlantic Beach Subdivision “A”) Dear Ms. Bradshaw: I write in reply to your attached letter regarding consistency of the proposed business activity at the above referenced location, and subsequent to our meeting of November 12th. You have described the proposed business as an outdoor retail market, where vendors would operate from tents divided into 10-foot by 10-foot leased spaces. While retail sales of the types of goods and products you have described are permitted use within Commercial General Zoning District, Section 24-151 of the City’s Land Development Regulations (copy attached) prohibits the outside sales of such items. Open air markets, kiosk or tent vendors are not permitted within any Zoning District within the City of Atlantic Beach.
