Re: Addition to two-family dwelling located at southwest corner of Beach Avenue and 18th
Street within Ocean Grove subdivision
Dear Mr. Meuse:
In reply to your attached letter, Section 24-47 (h) of the Zoning, Subdivision and Land Development
Regulations authorizes the Community Development Director to grant minor Variances provided the
reduction in specific standards does not exceed five (5) percent of the established standard.
You have requested that this project be permitted to exceed the fifty percent Impervious Surface Area
limit by 2.9 percent of this limit, as generally depicted on the attached Site Plan for the project. This
request is consistent with Section 24-47 (h) of the regulations, and is therefore authorized. Please
advise the property owners that future increases in Impervious Surface Area, beyond those depicted
for this project, would not be permitted. Please call me at 247-5817 with any questions, and be sure to
include a copy of this letter with the application for building permits.
