7/16/21 performed 2nd rough electric inspection, pass with notes. Need revision for final for
receptacles deleted.
7/16/21 performed 2nd rough plumbing top out, pass.
7/16/21 Framing inspection Pass
8/27/21 Above ceiling inspection, Fail. Not ready, needed to have mechanical rough first. Also,
penetrations need to be sealed in fire rated assemblies.
8/27/21 Mechanical rough inspection, Fail. Plans do not match work completed. Need revision.
FMC 603.10 Supports, Bath exhaust pipe needs to be supported, flex duct needs to be supported,
603.9 Joints, seams, and connections. insulation at AHU not sealed, AHU disconnect not within
sight of unit. Kinks in flex duct etc.
FBC 714.5.1.1Fire-resistance-rated assemblies, 717.6.2 Membrane penetrations.
Ducts and air transfer openings constructed of approved materials in accordance with the Florida
Building Code, Mechanical that penetrate the ceiling membrane of a fire-resistance-rated
floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling assembly shall be protected with one of the following:
1.A shaft enclosure in accordance with Section 713.
2.A listed ceiling radiation damper installed at the ceiling line where a duct penetrates the ceiling
of a fire-resistance-rated floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling assembly.
3.A listed ceiling radiation damper installed at the ceiling line where a diffuser with no duct
attached penetrates the ceiling of a fire-resistance-rated floor/ceiling or roof/ceiling assembly.
9/29/21 above ceiling inspection. Fail: same issues not corrected need to have approved revision
and approved plans on job site. Fire dampers needed at rated ceiling assembly where ducts pass
through.
10/13/21 363 Atlantic Blvd.- Medspa. Preliminary Final “comments” inspection. Fail
Comments as follows. 1. Need updated plan on site with revisions, electrical for outlet
placement, HVAC duct layout and firedampers etc., plumbing, changed water heater to insta hot,
gas FBC 107.3,1. 2. Need to label electrical panel to plan and have correct breakers. NEC 408.4.
3. ADA toilet flush handle needs to be on the open side. Florida accessibility 604.6 Flush
Controls. 4. Need to strap bond wire from gas line along wall. NEC 334
10/14/21 Final complete. Copy of plans and revision on job site. Corrections made. Waiting on
approved plans from city building dept for inspection approval.
